Step by step to install downloaded Firefox extensions xpi

   The step by step article below show the example on how to install the locally download xpi Firefox extension.  The example below show the step to install seopen Firefox extensions that is download to local computer.  Please note that the Firefox extensions file usually end with the xpi extension.

1.  Open your Firefox browser.

2.  Click on File on the menu bar... point the mouse pointer and click on Open File..

3.  Using the Open File window, find the Firefox extension that you want to install... please note that the Firefox extension have the file name end with the xpi extension.  Then click on the Open button.  Example shown on figure below:

4.  Click on Install Now button to start the Firefox extension installation process.

5.  Restart Firefox browser.... now you can start using the new Firefox extensions.
